German Potato Salad

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Boil potatoes until "al dente". Peel and slice while hot.
  2. Add grated onion.
  3. Heat to boiling salt, sugar, pepper, oil, vinegar and water.
  4. Cool mixture until you can stick finger (clean!) in it.
  5. Pour over potatoes and onion.
  6. Add a little Parsley (for color).
  7. Let stand unrefrigerated a few hours.
  8. Garnish with bacon and parsley.
